Description
Summary:This article examines the phenomenon of globalization and the concomitant growth of multinationals in reference to the impact they have on the structure of society; social cohesion; the growing class divisions; the perception and application, often minimal, of distributive justice, especially in the field of labor, employment, and workers' rights. It offers an analysis of how this new reality and dynamics of the world of commerce and business have serious consequences on human relations between employers and workers, and even between states and international organizations; how they give rise to new forms of crime or aggravate existing ones; how they impact criminology and require a change of perspective, of priorities in research, and innovation in the analysis and formulation of theories of crime in the context of globalization, which penetrates all aspects of political, economic and social life.
