Summary: | Following, a reconsideration of the traditional interpretations about the bull figure meaning in the Ebusitan coinage is presented, in which it always appears related to the worship of Baal-Hammon or Tanit, at the same time that the current difficulties when it is time to accept those proposals are presented. Finally, a new interpretation about the image of this animal in those coins is suggested, totally separated from any direct connection with the deities mentioned before. |
