description The paper reveals methodology for calculation of power which is necessary for destruction of contamination deposits which are accumulated in the pores of gravelling and in a filter of a water well.Frame and rod filter with wire coiling has been studied when it was subjected to pressure impulse of underwater explosion of 2H2 + 02 gaseous mixture.An equation on balancing the power which goes to deform the wire coiling and destruction of contamination deposits has been formed. An example of calculation of the required power consumption is given in the paper.
