| Summary: | The article considers the concept of responsible investment, the practice of applying ESG factors (ESG – Environmental, Social and Governance) in the process of making strategic decisions. The paper presents the trend of ESG investment market development at the international level. The author analyses the practice of applying responsible investment in Russia, in particular, the issuance of reports on the company’s sustainable development, sustainable development indices “responsibility and openness” and “vector of sustainable development”, ESG rating of Russian companies. The paper determines the requirements for the formation of a system of responsible investment in Russia, which will include relevant state departments, financial and credit organizations, corporations, rating agencies. The study proposes the requirements of responsible investment for investment and construction companies at various stages of the construction project implementation. |
