Summary:In the present work there is an analysis of some aspects concerning the methods of teaching Mythology in a higher educa­tion institution with artistic profile. On the basis of the example of the course of Mythology the author analyzes the special proc­ess of reciprocal connection of forming semantic knowledge of typical human archetypes. The author emphasizes the creation of a continuous educational system: school – college – higher education institution that include instructive forms and teaching methods that contribute to the preliminary training of future students of an artistic higher education institution. The author speaks about the existent teaching system at the Academy of Music, Theatre and Fine Arts and the problems related to it.
