Data mining, sometimes called data or knowledge discovery, is the process of analyzing data from different perspectives and summarizing it into useful information. In medicine, this process is distinct from that in other fields, because of heterogeneity and voluminosity of the data. Herein we reviewed some of published articles about application of data mining in several fields in medicine and healthcare. |
