description The current prevalence and influence of TV and its nature - ideology of live & direct transmission and spectacular events- hinder the development of communication quality in education, which should be based on accuracy and conceptual coldness, moving away as much as possible from the "pathos", to adhere strictly to the most important events, and to data and evidence. What contents TV transmits?: rich in visual capital and striking images; but poor in abstract ideas, which is what allows conceptualization, abstraction, and reflection: three essential requirements in education. The emotional impact of TV language is imposed on the rational and reflexive knowledge, which should be essential for quality communication.
