Summary: | French Regional Nature Parks (RNP), created in 1967, can be considered as precursory sustainable development laboratories. Different initiatives dedicated to promote local development and draw benefits from the improved status of sustainably managed areas have been implemented in the RNP and among them a labelling policy through the development of RNP collective trademarks. In this article, we wonder about the consistency of this RNP labelling policy for the French overseas department of Martinique. According to our analytical references (local governance and collective action), we focus on the social dimension of sustainable development. |
