Summary:A 19-year-old female presented with loss of vision in the left eye of 2-month duration. There was a history of bite by Russell's viper 2 months back. Best-corrected visual acuity in the left eye was light perception positive. Clinical examination and imaging studies lead to the diagnosis of resolved central retinal artery occlusion with consecutive optic atrophy in the left eye. Poor visual prognosis was explained to the patient, and she was asked to follow-up at regular intervals.
