Unless there is expertise in oncopathology and strong suspicion, biopsy is also difficult to interpret. Due to misdiagnosis, steroids are started early which mask the disease leading to further delay in seeking appropriate care. We present here an illustrative case of a young lady with symptoms mimicking collagen vascular disease and diagnosis of SPTCL reached later. |
