Description
Summary:The main purpose of this research was to explain the meaning of life based on God image and death anxiety among university students. To investigate this relationship, 420 undergraduate students (230 male, 190 female) in Azad University - Roudehen Branch - were selected through Clustered Random sampling, all of whom were simultaneously studying at the mentioned university in the first semester of 1392-93. The participants were presented with the following questionnaires: Purpose of Life (PIL), Religious Status Inventory (RSI), and Templer’s Death Anxiety Scale (DAS). The results of multiple regression data analysis show that the meaning In Life, on the basis of one’s God image, along with death anxiety is predictable in both genders. However, for women respondents, God image has a more significant role in predicting life purpose than for men.
