It seems that never before (excluding the decades of direct influence) has the questionable heritage of naïve humanism, in the form of 19th‑centurylegacy of evolutionism assuming omnipresent linearity of development always heading in the direction of placing a human and Western culture on the highest level of the development of humanity, had enjoyed such triumph as in the modern times. |
