| Summary: | The theoretical aspects of the media image of the Russian region and its components are considered, the role of the image of the head of the republic in the context of the dynamics of political communications is indicated. The object of study is the image of the head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov, the features of positioning within the framework of the paradigm shift of the idea of Chechnya and its leader are revealed. In order to confirm the hypothesis, the data of the conducted studies are presented: media monitoring, dissacrs analysis of texts about Ramzan Kadyrov (chronological framework — February–August 2022). The author notes that the most important characteristics of the media image of a modern leader, identified by theoretical and practical research, are the behavioral actions of the leader, his ideological position, commitment to the ideology of the Russian state. Along with the description of the identified strategies, the author describes the causes and forecast of the dynamics of the media image of the regional leader. |
