Description
Summary:In the postperonist context, the Argentine political field changed drastically, due to the emergence of new issues and questions among the main political actors of the time. Namely, they were forced to reconsider the new role of the recently banned Peronism. Thus, the importance of the “peronist question” influenced the dissolution of classic political identities and the emergence of new ones.In this changing context, the MovimientoNacionalistaTacuara was founded as a successor of the Argentine Nationalism of the first half of the 20th Century. Tacuara, in order to respond to the demands of its context, approached the peronist Unions and new leftistperonist groups. Thus, the influence of Peronism marked the young nationalists and caused deep structural changes in Tacuara, in the same way as it did among other contemporary political forces. The influence of Peronism in Tacuara, even though it was authentic, was overestimated by the specialized historiography and also by the general public. Because of this, the aim of this paper is to explore the real limits of the relationship between both political movements.
