Summary: | The purpose of this study was to identify the factors and characteristics of professional high school principals in Tehran based on religious teachings. The research method was mixed and according to interviews with experts. The sample consisted of 16 experts who were selected by purposeful sampling and snowball sampling and semi-structured interviews were used to collect data. In this study, factors and indices were identified based on theoretical and research literature and experts rated them on a 5-point Likert scale for importance and also raised questions in response to open-ended questions. Data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation and one-sample t-test and the results of open-ended question were analyzed with MAXQDA software. Based on the findings of this study, 7 factors and 66 indicators were identified from the viewpoint of experts and experts on factors affecting the professional ethics of school principals.
