Description
Summary:Densities and speeds of sound of the binary mixtures valeronitrile/propyl propanoate and valeronitrile/butyl propanoate were determined at atmospheric pressure and at a temperature range which goes from 278.15 to 318.15K every 5K. With the experimental data, we calculated the following physicochemical properties: VE,, E, u, S y SE; these results were fitted with the polynomial equation of Redlich-Kister. The studied binary mixtures showed negative values of VE, E, u y SE in the whole range of composition and at all temperatures. The prediction of the speed of sound was performed with the models proposed by Nomoto, Ernst and Van Dael.
