| Summary: | A review and critical analysis of publications devoted to the competence issues of digital librarians of scientific libraries has been carried out. The range of functional requirements and librarian knowledge related to information technology is generalized. The basic tendencies of involvement of librarians in digital scientific communication are found out. The scientific and educational measures necessary for the successful participation of library specialists in digital projects of the scientific library are determined. |
