description The General Administrative Procedure Act of 2009 represents a significant novelty to Croatian administrative procedural legislation. Among other things, for the first time, it brought about the implementation and general legal regulation of administrative contracts in the Republic of Croatia. This law in particular regulates numerous issues on administrative contracts such as the conditions for contracting and consideration, validity, contractual changes, termination and finally administrative protection for parties when the public legal bodies do not fulfil their contractual obligations. Also, the demands from the acquis communautaire are compared with the Croatian normative solutions regarding administrative contracts.
