The first description of larva of soldier fly Beris heptapotamica Pleske, 1926 (Diptera: Stratiomyidae)
Data on the habitats of soldier-fly larva Beris heptapotamica Pleske, 1926 are reviewed for the first time. Morphological diagnostic characters differing the larva from those of other species from the genus Beris are discussed. Key to larvae of 7 palaearctic Beris species is given.
