| Summary: | An In Memoriam about Dr Zofia Jasińska (1930–2022), scholar of the history of Polish theatre and editor, who worked at the Theatre Museum in Warsaw as an inventory curator for almost thirty years. The article describes her student years at the Catholic University of Lublin, her work at the Bibliographic Institute of the National Library in Warsaw, her long time collaboration as a theatre reviewer with the Kraków socio-cultural magazine Tygodnik Powszechny, her underground activity during communist rule, and her participation in the amateur theatre movement and in religious associations. It characterizes her most important scholarly and documentary works, thanks to which she is remembered as an outstanding theatre historian and an exemplary editor and documentarian. |
