Description
Summary:The objective of this investigation is to design and implement a board game named “The tree of life – A voyage to the origin of life” as a tool to develop scientific argumentation among university students. It is applied on students in second and fourth grade of the “Maestro de Educación Infantil” at the University of Valencia campus d’Ontinyent. In order to analyze the effectiveness of the game, a qualitative and quantitative methodology was used, with an interpretative perspective, using the case study for the analysis of the data obtained. We present the results for the pre-test diagnostics. In other paper we will show the results for the barriers to learning (post-test). This research concludes that students present the majority of the barriers to learning the evolution concept and also the difficulties about scientific argumentation of evolutionary biology.
