The verses in Sangam Literature and the grammatical text “Tholkappiyam” speaks of the situation where people speak after the elopement of the hero (Thalaivan) and the heroine (Thalaivi). These ancient treasures of Tamil culture spot how the mother and relatives had an interaction with the people who witnessed it on the way about the lovers. The talk also portrays the statement of the viewers. Hence, this article is based on the objectives, of whether the conversation of the viewers abides by the rules of Tholkappiyam or Sangam Literature? and at what level the witnessed people accept the action of the lovers or thought to have violated the rules. |
