description Objectives The subject of the article is the way of presenting the dispute caused by the exhortation of Pope Francis "Amoris Laetitia" on the websites of Catholic weeklies. This exhortation concerns the issues of marital morality and family life, and its fragments (concerning the rules of giving communion to divorced persons) were written ambiguously. So bishops and theologians have developed different interpretations of these principles. Since many of them were mutually exclusive, a dispute over the rules of administering communion to divorced persons (which still exists today) flared up among the leaders of the Catholic Church. Material and methods The analysis used the research method - content analysis. 402 Internet texts published in the years 2016-2018 on the websites of (the oldest Catholic weeklies in Poland): “Przewodnik Katolicki”, “Gość Niedzielny”, “Niedziela” were analyzed. The interpretative context of the research results was the developing in Poland of socio-cultural pluralism, secularization and changes in the moral awareness of Poles Results One key conclusion is that the structure of the most common information on an exhortation conflict shows that it is a document of a "conflict nature". At the same time, authors of Internet texts want to convince readers that its traditional interpretation is correct. Conclusions The main conclusion from the research carried out shows that the papal document is shown on Catholic websites as controversial, and the dispute over its interpretation concerns the Church all over the world. Such a message seems to strengthen the processes of individualization of morality and religiosity that are advanced among Poles.
