A NEW METHOD FOR THE SYNTHESIS OF 3-(4’-NITROPHENYL)HYDRAZONE-2,3,4-TRIOXOPENTANOIC ACID ETHYL ESTER
A new method has been developed for the preparation of 3-(4’-nitrophenyl)-hydrazone-2,3,4-trioxopentanoic acid ethyl ester, a convenient synton for producing nitrogen-functionalized heterocyclic compounds, and it’s structure has been proved by mass spectrometry.
