| description | Nowadays, in the digital era, the tenets of Islamic teachings through television media has been massive. For instance, the most successful Islamic series is Para Pencari Tuhan (Those Who Are Searching For God). It is a monthly entertaining show that broadcast every Ramadhan and reached the eleventh series in 2017. This series highlights some of the Islamic teachings by exploring the entertaining segments from the unique angles. This article analyzes the second episode of the third series in order to explain the Islamic text foundation and the cultural aspects affected. This analyzing works through the dialogue of actors in an analytic-descriptic method. The big part of the topic discussed in this episode is the authority of text in the motivation of pilgrimage. In addition, another topic discussed is the love scene and political contestation scene in an Islamic background. In the end, this article presents the critical side of the series scenes. |
