description Using data from the DSAFHIR study, collected in 2017 from 469 homeless migrant women housed in emergency housing hotels in the greater Paris area, we investigated access to healthcare among homeless migrant women, using two different measures: healthcare utilization and foregoing healthcare. We found that two thirds of respondents had visited a general physician in the last 12 months, a lower rate than immigrants from the general population. We found a higher rate of gynecologist visit, due to important perinatal care needs in this group. It appeared that medical coverage and owning a public transportation card were predictors of access to healthcare in this population.
