description The article presents modern approaches to the assessment of microarchitecture bone tissue of the jaw bone using cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT). The increase in image taking into account the density of the tissue to trabecular package using CBCT gives the opportunity to analyze the state of cortical and trabecular bone, which is the reflection of the activity of metabolic processes. Comparative data on outcomes CBCT and histological study that shows a direct link in the evaluation of qualitative characteristics of jaw bones. Assessment microarchitecture of the jaw bone using CBCT allows you to analyze the process of reparative regeneration and osseointegration, to predict long-term outcomes.
