Summary:Penetrating trauma generates about 30% of chest trauma. Rupture of diapragm has seen approximately 10-15% of penetrating chest trauma. Rupture of diapragm is a well-known but rarely seen and so not often considered and can easily be overlooked major complication of chest injuries.
