description The purpose of this study was to investigate the incidence of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) and cervical cancer (CC) in women of different age groups who underwent cervical cytological testing from 2016 to 2018. According to our study, the frequency of CD incidence was inversely dependent on the degree of dysplasia in all age groups of women receiving survey from 2016 to 2018. The CIN1 incidence rate increased from 2016 to 2018, while the rate of CIN 2, CIN 3 and CC decreased. An analysis of the distribution patterns of CIN 1, CIN 2, CIN 3 and CC according to age revealed that the peak ages of the CIN1-3 incidence was 26-35 years. In the age group of 46-55 years, there was a sharp increase in CC—by 2.5 times compared with the age groups of 26-35 years and 36-45 years. Although the peak ages of CC incidence was ≥56 years. The peak ages of the indirect signs of HPV infection were 18-29 years and 30-44 years, characterizing the peculiarity of the immune status of these age groups. Thus, the peak age group in which women develop both CIN1 and CIN2+ is 26-35. Patient’s age has a considerable influence on the natural history of CIN—independent of CIN grade and HPV high-risk infection.
