Summary: | The management of the collective work, the production of devices of measure and the prescription of the tasks are skills traditionally associated with the engineers. In the industrial society, this population is associated with professional and organizational capacities where the measure, the optimization and the rationalization are many important aspects of their professionality and their work. Nevertheless, the recent managerial policies expose more the engineers to practices of evaluation and to techniques of measure of their own work. Among these, the lean management causes a systematization of the standards and the practices of evaluation in design offices.
