Description
Summary:The author of this paper tried to make an analysis of historical and spiritual situation of the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohia from the point of view of nihilism, as it has been defined in Nietzsche's philosophy and more widely as well. The view of Nietzsche's cultural-historical form of nihilism as situation of decadence of the Christian values and ideals in contemporary world is not only the characteristic of Serbian culture in Kosovo, but also reflects the time of big crisis, which are the results of the strength of today's religious and spiritual life, and Christian-orthodox heredity and institutions. In such point, author sees the root of Serbian affirmation of life in Kosovo and the way of overcoming (Ger. Überwindung) some aspects of nihilism, especially nihilism as negation of the basic human rights and various kinds of freedom. Therefore, nihilism does not exist as the main attitude in the basis of spiritual-cultural development of the Serbian nation, which would arise itself from its own fun dam Finally, one kind of nihilism in Kosovo is defined by the term 'Kosovo's nihilism' which represents an outer, passive, political nihilism which exerts destructive intention on Serbian culture and heredity, and which takes a form of conflict between East and West, Christianity and Islam. Regarding the active type of 'Kosovo's nihilism', the author shows her intention for overcoming the passive one, whose roots are originating from the nourishing of Serbian historical consciousness, spiritual life and transcendental intentions.
