Walailak Journal of Science and Technology
In this issue, the Walailak Journal of Science and Technology marks the 15th anniversary of Walailak University by looking back on the considerable accomplishments that have already been made by Walailak staff over this short period.
The journal has recently been recognized as one of the top journals in Thailand having achieved an impact factor of 0.125 as determined by the Thai Journal Citation Index Centre (TCI Centre). We would like to take this opportunity to thank previous and current authors for publishing in the Walailak journal and contributing to this remarkable success. We also hope that this achievement will encourage other authors to make the Walailak journal their first choice for publishing their research work.
This issue begins with a special invited article reviewing the number of international publications authored by Walailak researchers and aims to show the rapid progress made by the University in recent years. We hope that staff members will be encouraged by this article and motivated to publish more of their research in international journals. As part of this initiative we also hope that authors who submit to the Walailak journal will get a taste of publishing in an international journal without the demands. Working together we aim to continue to strive for quality and excellence in all published articles.
