investigate operational parameters for precipitation of Ce ion from a rare earths chloride liquor. It was tested oxidants/
precipitating as the pair permanganate/carbonate and peroxide/urea to Ce ion selective precipitation. It was investigated
in both cases, the variables reaction temperature, time and pH. The results show that the two pairs analyzed show to
be effective in the precipitation of the Ce ion, however, there is higher selectivity for the pair permanganate/carbonate. |
