Summary:The genera <i>Abaria</i> Mosely 1948 and <i>Drepanocentron</i> Schmid 1982 are recorded in China for the first time. In this study, two new species, <i>Abaria herringbona</i> sp. nov., from Guang-xi, and <i>Drepanocentron fuxiensis</i> sp. nov., from An-hui, are described and illustrated. Male genitalia of these two new species is distinguishable from those of other <i>Abaria</i> and <i>Drepanocentron</i> species. In addition, <i>Melanotrichia attia</i> Malicky & Chantaramongkol 1992 is a new record for the Chinese caddisfly fauna.
