Summary: | The article discusses the effectiveness of 3-month therapy with angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors fosinopril receptor and antagonists of the angiotensin II valsartan to achieve target BP(<130/80 mm Hg), the dynamics of indicators ofdaily blood pressure profile according to the daily monitoring of blood pressure and changes in metabolic parameters in patients with CHD and post infarctioncardio sclerosis combined with diabetes mellitus type 2 and hypertension.54 patients with coronary artery disease with post infarction sclerosis in combination with diabetes type 2 were randomized into 2 groups: the first group included 26 people who took angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors fosinopril in the daily dose of 20 mg, the second group consisted of 28 people who took the receptor antagonists of angiotensin II in a daily dose of 80 mg. At baseline and after 12 weeks of treatment for all patients the survey was conducted, including office blood pressure measurement and ambulatory daily monitoring of blood pressure. In serum was determined concentration of potassium, creatinine, lipid profile and carbohydrate metabolism. In our study both drugs showed high antihypertensive efficacy. Target BP levels were achieved in most patients but more effective influence on diurnal BP profile had a reception of valsartan. The lack of adverse effects on metabolic status distinguishes angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors and antagonist of receptor of angiotensin II from other antihypertensive medication. |
