New species of the genus Phaleria Latreille (Tenebrionidae: Diaperinae) from northern coast of Peru
A new species of the genus Phaleria Latreille from northern Peruvian coast is described and illustrated: Phaleria psammatea nov. sp. Diagnostic characters are discussed in relation to Western Hemisphere species, particularly those of the Pacific coast of South America.
