This means that classical approaches of pro-duction systems design have to be extended by advanced technologies and methods, such as digital factory, virtual and augmented reality, computer simulation, reverse engineering, etc. The article describes new computer technologies, which were applied in production practice, with a particular focus on the augmented reality technology.
