Description
Summary:A one-dimensional mathematical model of non-stationary diffusion - advection of radon in the soil - atmosphere system is considered. Using the integral Laplace transform, an analytical solution of the mathematical model was obtained and, on its basis, distribution curves of radon concentration in the soil and atmosphere were constructed. It has been shown that an increase in the rate of advection in homogeneous porous soil will lead to the accumulation of radon near the earth's surface.
