| description | Diversification of tasks, participation of all in the study phase, mechanization, are very current trade union demands. They aim to reduce the hardship of work and to prevent musculoskeletal disorders which, due to the multiplication of long-term contracts and successive excavations, endanger the institution’s viability. Since 2001, this model of excavation organization has been applied in Marseille to improve the physical and psychological well-being of the agents by giving everyone a sense of the job and allowing technicians to see themselves as something other than diggers. Since then, at the cost of constant negotiations with our management and the State services, this collective organization prevails on all sites in region Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, excavations as well as surveys. Twenty years later, the time has come to look at the results. |
