description From the twentieth century, minority narratives have become common in the literary scene, revealing the conflicts generated by socio-political movements. A new space is established: « minor literatures ». This term does not refer to a secondary condition of this literature, but rather to its revolutionary profile inserted in a hegemonic context. The « compositional translation », a minor literature, manifests itself: the writing process of authors with a colonial past who write their works in a dominant language. These writers create and translate their texts, transposing the culture and the history of their communities to another language. And if this is the « first translation », what is the role of the « second translator », what are the ethical principles that should guide them? The purpose of this article is to seek answers to these questions and to analyze the aspects underlying compositional translation and its translation.
