Urogynecological pessaries is the first line therapy of pelvic organs prolapse in women and the concomitant urinary incontinence. Their choice is not difficult and each gynecologist must be skilled at it. The article describes in detail the algorithm of the examination required for the selection of the pessary of the correct form and size, which considerably simplifies work of the gynecologist and will help to implement this therapeutic method in his/her day-to-day practice. |
