Summary:The objective of this article is to describe and analyze the integration of agricultural, ecological, cultural and community activities in order to distinguish the relevance of Agroecotourism as an economic activity and community participation. Key themes that guide our analysis are: (1) conceptualization of Agroecotourism, (2) its interrelation with agricultural activity, (3) ecology in its conservation of nature and (4) culture as a transversal process, bilateral enrichment for both the visitor as for the host, which in this case is the peasant family, the peasant community in intercultural tourism exchange.
