description The present work analyzes Camila Cabello 's music video for Havana (Ft. Young Thug), trying to understand the representations of the Cuban identifications and femininity associated with the singer, manifested in the performance. Based on the perspective of the History of Present Time, in dialogue with decolonial authors, this article tries to understand Latin identification as a momentary condition of the subjects, not being fixed, that is elaborated through exchanges. In this process the cultural industry, especially that of American origin, occupies a central role, using certain referential elements for the construction of representations under a dichotomy vision between homogeneity and heterogeneity.
