| description | Este trabalho tem como objetivo investigar os fatores que levaram os jovens a escolherem a profissão de professor e mais especificamente a optar pela carreira de professor de Matemática. Participaram desta pesquisa os acadêmicos que cursavam o primeiro ano de licenciatura em Matemática na Universidade Estadual de Londrina, cujos depoimentos foram colhidos por meio da observação participante, compondo, ao final, o que poderíamos chamar de fragmentos de história de vida, sobre os quais lançamos diversos olhares, alicerçados em conceitos pertinentes à multirreferencialidade. A complexidade evidenciada pelo fenômeno em pesquisa levou essa investigação qualitativa a lançar mão de aportes teóricos com pontes em diversas áreas do conhecimento, com a intenção de realizar um movimento de não recortar a situação em estudo, mas ampliar o nosso olhar com relação ao objeto, em um trabalho que se pode chamar de bricolagem.<br>The objective of this work is to investigate the factors which made young people decide to become teachers and, more specifically, to be Mathematics teachers. Students from the first year of the teacher licensing program in Mathematics at Londrina State University took part in this research. Their conversations were recorded during participant observation. The data composed what could be called fragments of life history, which we interpreted from several perspectives through concepts of multi-referentiality. The complexity of the phenomenon we researched called for a theory which bridged several areas of knowledge, with the intention of not dismantling the situation in question by means of its analysis, but rather of increasing our understanding of it, in a work that one can call bricolage. |
