Summary: | The mini-phototext is a hybrid genre that has only recently caught critical attention. At the confluence between the narration and the description, between fiction and reality, the mini-phototext is a pervasive creative practice in the artistic field and it is less present in the literary one. Through the analysis of some artistic examples—Jean Le Gac, Christian Boltanski and Paul-Louis Léger—and literary examples—Christian Garcin and Jérôme Game—I will investigate the forms and dynamics of authorial communication which often comes out of the book and expands into a widespread mediality. |
