description The paper reveals author's approach to the estimation of the effectiveness of social system "service", which is characterized by various relations with the environment and internal processes caused by interaction of actors. The main aim of the study is to form integral approach to the estimation of the effectiveness of system "service" taking into account social relations and internal processes, which are characterized by public changes in our country. The methods used in the study: the investigation is based on the system approach which reflects the positions of the system theory and sociological theories of average level, as well as quantitative and qualitative methods of determination and the statistical methods of estimation. Results: the system "service" is represented as multilevel and multifarious social object. The authors substantiate the estimation of effectiveness on microlevel (service organization). The authors have formed the integral approach to the estimation of the effectiveness of service as a social system which takes into consideration special features of actors interaction as well as the system functioning and development. The effectiveness of the system is proposed to be estimate by the integrated index, quantitative and quality indicators with "the level of the man satisfaction" domination.
