Description
Summary:Inherited from colonization, the French language was adopted by all the components of the different social strata of the Ivorian population. According to the work carried out by some researchers on the question, there are French-specific uses and varieties that are specific to each component depending on whether the speaker is in school, not in school or with little schooling. Thus, based on the reflections of researchers on the Ivorian “Francophonie”, this article aims at studying the characteristics of the existing borders between the different varieties of French used in Côte d'Ivoire.
