Objective: to compare c plus files and c pilot files in endodontic application
Method: A bibliographic review was carried out on the comparative characteristics of c plus files and c pilot files in the endodontic application of information published between the period of time from 2005 to 2022. The search strategy was carried out in the databases of research as scientific journals found in Google Schoolar, among the most prominent are Scielo, PubMed, Revista Mexicana, Militares de Endodontia, even a scientific article was rescued from the library and repositories of Latin American and European Universities in endodontic dentistry. The terms used were: Prevention, movement systems, root cavity, LIMAS C PLUS, LIMAS C. The search by language was limited to English and Spanish.
Final considerations: The stainless steel instruments (C+ and C-Pilot) were more resistant to buckling than the nickel-titanium instrument. Considering that buckling resistance can influence instrument performance during narrow channel trading, the C+ files showed significantly better results than the other instruments tested. |
