Therefore, present study aimed to predict positive and negative affect based on Self-Compassion with the mediating role of Personality Types A and B in Alzheimerchr('39')s Caregivers. Methods: Method was descriptive- correlation. participants were Alzheimerchr('39')s primary Caregivers in 2018 in Tehran. 202 participants were selected by available sampling and completed the questionnaires of Neff’s Self-Compassion (2003), Watson, Clark, Tellegen’s positive and negative affect (1988) and Rathus, s Personality Types (1996). Data were analyzed by Pearson’s correlation and path analysis. Results: The results indicated that Self-Compassion positively correlate positive affect and negatively correlate negative affect (P<0.01). The results of path analysis showed that Personality Types A and B significantly mediate on the prediction of Positive and Negative Affect based on Self-Compassion in Alzheimerchr('39')s Caregivers (P<0.01). Conclusion: In order to decrease negative affect and improve positive affect in Alzheimerchr('39')s Caregivers, may be useful, Alzheimer Association pay attention to Self-Compassion of nurses and Alzheimerchr('39')s Caregivers and was moderated non efficient and incompatible Personality Types though the interventions of counselling and training. |
