Summary:The Western Nations strived very hard to emboss their supremacy on<br />the subcontinent Indopak in different spans of period. The Purtagese have enjoyed the predominance among the other visitors .In the last decades of 15th Century a Portugese traveler named Wasco de gamma landed the Indian coasts at Kaali Cutt. When he turned his back after spending a luxurious period in rich India, he narrated the dreamy days like that of in Arabian Knights about prosperity of India and the golden chances for business and trade. So their business class turned to India for earning a lot of profit. In this way they availed themselves of learning various languages of India. Likewise the Indian people made best of Portugese Language. So this mutual interaction brought forth the personalities from the Purtagese who got expertise to an extent that they were inclined to experiencing Urdu poetry in accordance with their creative intellect and proved to be a valuable addition to the literary heritage of Urdu Verse. Some of the literary achievements are narrated as under:<br />1)Hakim Don Ellis De Sylva "Fitrat"<br />2) Louis "Da Casta"<br />3) Joseph Manuel " Joseph"<br />4)Hakim Don Augustine De Sylva "Maftoon"<br />5)Hakim Ilyas Pedro De Sylva "Ibrat"<br />Some of the poets are distinctively prominent and their creative works are fully decorated with the qualities and traditions of the native Indian.
